Intensive filmmaking program that taught students every aspect of creating a film, including, concepting film ideas, writing, casting, producing and editing.

WORK EXPERIENCE

BSSP Creative Director (2019 - present)
Directed and lead work for brands across the BSSP roster. Developed trusted relationships with clients and mentored teams within the agency.

Deutsch ACD (2018 – 2019)
Lead teams and helped create the work for Volkswagen brand campaigns for broadcast, digital and POS in dealerships. Lead writer on pitch work for the agency.

Media Arts Lab ACD, (2014 – 2018)
Developed and executed the launch campaign for iPhone X for the global market. Was a lead writer throughout iPhone 6-X launches. Other projects include creating TBWA’s ‘Take the Lead’ program to increase female leadership in the workplace and aided in progressing the award winning ‘World Gallery’ campaign. Finally, I wrote the holiday ad, 'Frankie's Holiday'.

72andsunny Copywriter, (2012 – 2014)
Worked as a lead writer on global brands including Anheuser Busch, Activision and Samsung. Responsibilities included concept development, scripts, media plans and final deliverables to client. The position required I manage a small team of creatives and brand coordinators while maintaining open communication with the client. The Activision work lead to ‘Skylanders’ having it’s most successful/profitable year to date.

Google Creative Lab NY, Copywriter (2011-2012)
Chosen from hundreds of applicants to write and produce ideas for Google Creative Lab. Responsibilities included writing the platform for Google’s social network ‘Google+ Hangouts’, writing, editing and creating a consistent voice across the entire Google brand, directing videos that explain new applications and helping launch new products and services from Google’s secretive ‘Google X’ lab.

Energy BBDO, Copywriter intern, Summer (2010)
Working under creative directors I wrote and produced four different advertising campaigns over the course of a summer. Other duties included: working collaboratively with creative teams to solidify existing brand campaigns, creating promotion for the Energy BBDO internship program and pitching ideas alongside senior creative teams for global brands.

Director’s Assistant, “The Thaw” Vancouver (2009)
My tasks included: writing out a shot list each morning on the day of filming, collaborating with producers and camera teams, location scouting, casting, creating an edit list for raw footage and writing press releases for the films premier.

Vancouver IAM, Vancouver (2009)
An independent journalism company where I wrote, interviewed and produced segments for national television. For each news segment I concepted the idea, pitched to the editor, wrote, filmed and edited the news piece. Segments included: Lady Gaga, the Canadian Olympic swim team and the New Pornogrpahers (indie rock band).

Oil Rigs, Hanna, Alberta Canada. (2005)
Worked alongside five other men on twelve hour shifts. Duties included: ensuring the safety of all co-workers, making pipe connections, setting up and tearing down the rig and diligent reporting on all equipment.
